We live close to nature in Kimberley, if you’ve spent even a short amount of time here, there are some pretty good chances you have seen some interesting wildlife up close and personal. Here’s some of the wildlife that have stopped by to say hi at the course;
This weasel that wants to check in on your score
This bear that had to make use of the ball washer
Stay Bear Aware out there!
This family of deer are our frequent visitors
And even include a new arrival this spring
Okay not REALLY wildlife, but a little bit
A fox or two have been known to stop by for a gander
These spectators are the real judge of your game, see how enthralled they look

TELUS Shootout
Closest to the pin takes home $5400
Visit Trickle Creek Golf Club, Bootleg Gap Golf or Kimberley Golf Club and purchase a qualifying shot at a designated hole for just $5.00. Each day, the two closest, as well as a draw winner at each course, will qualify to enter the TELUS Golf Shootout Final.
The 54 finalists will compete in the TELUS Golf Shootout Final for a grand prize of $5400, and additional prizes.

Qualifying week: July 21 – 26, Kimberley Golf Club, Bootleg Gap Golf, Trickle Creek Golf Course.
Shootout Final: July 26, Bootleg Gap Golf’s 18th Hole

This year’s Take A Kid To The Course will be running from July 8th – 13th. There are over 640 courses participating from all across the country.
